First of all, it depends on the state you are in. In some states, it's not even legal for a 14 year old to work except as a paper boy or baby sitter - things like that.

Check your local laws and find out if you are able to work at age 14 first.

Restaurants - bus boy
Fast food - Order taker/cashier
Grocery store - stock boy or bag boy

There are probably a lot more.

A lot of fast food restaurants hire 15 year olds, I don't know about 14 year olds. I worked at Dairy Queen when I was 15, so give them a try.

Home Depot offers how to classes, learn how to hang wallpaper, and paint. Little old ladies would love you to come to their homes and wallpaper or paint either there kitchen or bathroom. Practice at your own home first. Later, perhaps you could take interior design classes.Older women always need a hand at something, even changing light bulbs, weeding gardens, shopping, home cleaning and vacuuming If you go to Office Depot, buy you some blank business cards look on the back, there should be a free website to down load a program to print your own business cards. Pass them out in your neighborhood to elderly couples, tell them to give you a call if they need any help. Also, learn to paint in case they need a room painted, you should be able to charge 1.25 square foot- 10 x 12 room= 120 sf x 1.25= $160.00, you make 160.00 to paint that room, have the home owner buy the paint, never use Behr paint, it takes to many coats, tell them to buy good paint, like Glidden or Sherwin Williams

You probably can't get a traditional type job. They suck anyway. Be your own boss. Hire yourself out as a babysitter, house cleaner, car washer, lawn mower, window cleaner, walk shoveler.

If you keep yourself busy I think you could easily make more money than those working a burger king and McDonald's.

Where do you live? It might not even be legal to hire someone your age.

But if they did, more than likely fast food.
You wouldn't be considered responsible or educated enough for anything better, and you'd be a huge liability due to you being so young.
