We sisters only want what is deserved of us. Try getting some inspiration from the the writings of Sappho, and you will understand.

Super Ruper...you ask what we feminists deserve. How about equal pay, equal rights, and the rights to determine what is best for our bodies.

Because we are engulfed in patriarchy, a system that men created to dominate women. Since only men benefit from it (oppressing women), men usually dislike any feminist effort to overturn this injustice. So feminism threatens this system that men have created.

Well i never thought the awakening would come but my god am i pleasantly surprised ????

Is not just feminists i say its also male chauvnists these two coupled with corrupt politicians and gold diggers are the bane of our human society.

If men and women learn to be just humans first and then talk about their gender most problems would be solved and we could get on with the short life that we have and make the most of it so that when we are about to kick the bucket we can say we had a good life.

This is from a guy who has fired questions which have sometimes brought the worst in us and yet i have concluded you cannot brand all women as feminists and all men as chaunists.

A very famous proverbial saying "One bad fish (in this context a few male and female both) can dirty the whole pond.

Live and let live.Love and you will be loved.

People are not afraid of feminists. They just do not agree with their current agenda. They also do not agree with how feminists go about trying to get what they want. In the beginning I too was a feminist. Believed in equal pay for equal work and controlling our own bodies and all the rest. Times have changed and I have changed. I still believe in equal pay for equal work but I have come to understand that some parts of the feminist platform just don't fit who I am. I do not feel that all men are the enemy. That abortion does not remove a problem but kills a child. That being strident just makes people not hear me. So I do not fear you I just don't agree with you.

In the university environment, there seems to be a feminist behind every door. A rough estimate would be that 50% of the female university professors are feminists or have strong feminist leanings. Of course, they are married to alpha males with really high status jobs. And alpha males being alpha males treat women like dirt, for the most part, because of superiority complex and that competitive drive to the top. This abuse by alpha males causes feminist to view all males as abusers. Yet it is a feminists ambitions, same as the alpha males, to reach the highest status as possible that causes her to be frustrated. Some succeed, most don't because of the intense competition of our society. So in reviewing her failure, she becomes discontent usually not by her job advancements, because this would make her seem weak in her own eyes, but by her alpha male husband who did succeed in the working world because of his alpha male god-giving abilities. In real life, 99.99% of men aren't alpha males, they are men who go through the daily grind of work, have families, go to church, take yearly vacations then die. So the feminists dream of utopia and a perfect society where everyone will finally acknowledge her worth, and pay no attention to her alpha husband's successes if they do they will give her credit for his status rise, ends up on her part in bitter disappointments. That disappointment causes meanness. Pure and simple meanness. That's why people are afraid of feminists.

Nice answers on this thread for once!

I'm not personally afraid of feminists, although I do fear the sexist legislature they pass. It's one of the reasons I don't think I'll be getting married; I read too many anecdotes of men whose lives are thrown down the drain because of some *****. I have a lot of respect for PEOPLE in general who are actually trying to help other PEOPLE (not just women) out, but a mere look at the name "feminist" tells you something. If they really want equality, why not call themselves "humanists?" Oh, that's right, because only WOMEN are oppressed. How ignorant of me...

Feminists have put society into a state of dismay. I like my door open for me by a man. I enjoy the differences that make me a woman. I was created as an individual that has been defined by my gender and to love myself as a woman is to love the opposite sex as male. We are created equal as human beings, yet let us not forget are differences are there to compliment each other not dominate over another.

Not afraid, just tired. Everyone wants to be "King of the Hill". What happens when a minority becomes the majority? Will everyone clap their hands in congratulations? I doubt it. More likely the other minorities (including the new one that was displaced by the former one) will be fueled to further their cause or position. No one is happy being a minority, but the fact of the matter is that most of us have to be because there can only be ONE majority. Just live and let live and stop worrying about where you think your "group" stands in the scheme of things...

Why, they are afraid of anyone overly aggressive and unbalanced. It is fatiguing to deal with people who are constantly searching for hidden issues and are ready to start arguing about the smallest and less significant things.
They have some very good ideas, but because of the fanaticism they display, these ideas suffer. They should get a better representation.
Image makeover of some kind.

What do you mean by afraid ? I dont want a feminist for a wife or gf that does not mean Iam afraid of them, they are just repulsive to me, kind of like a guys in a miniskirt is repulsive to most women.

We aren't afraid of them, they are just divorced from Biblical reality. Men and women have roles in society and feminists resist their role. I would not willingly associate with them because they are not oriented to the divine viewpoint.

Because modern "feminists" are completely deluded and do not understand the fundamentals of what they claim to follow.

Its supposed to be about having self respect, not binge drinking, crime, bullying and yobbish "ladette" behaviour that is worse that that of the young men they try and elevate themselves above.
