Ceramic tiles - white spirit on a rag and wipe over - then wash with warm soapy water!

Plastic tiles - Hot VERY soapy water! DON'T use white spirit unless absolutely neccessary and only leave to remain in contact with the plastic for a short time - wash again with soapy water!

Or use any strong citrus fruit juice - Lemon or Lime the acidity will break down the wax

They sell a stripper to remove wax from tile floors.

White spirit got red tile wax polish off my newly painted white skirting boards if that is of any help.

Try vinegar in soapy water,the acidity breakes down the wax, and removes it gently without damaging or scratching the tiles.

try a green scratch pad and warm water gently rubbing should do it
