She's gone through to the end, but has one more chance...if she takes the swallow, it is finished....but if she chooses not, it goes on... Just a thought. Getting thirsty thinking of it...pass that bottle!

She drank so much, one more mouthful will kill her.
Metaphorically, Her life has been so much pain that one more set back, or broken heart sitiuation will send her over the edge.
