water weighs aproxamately 8 pounds per gallon but I rounded and a 55 gallon aquarium weighs about 35 pounds

so a full aquarium would weigh somewhere near 500 pounds depending on how full it is and how much other stuff is in it

A gallon of water weighs about 8#, or 3.7 kilos. Of course if you count gravel(it weighs about 150#/cubic foot). you should be able to make a pretty accurate estimate. Just guessing I'd say 50#'s for the tank,75#'s for gravel, and 400#'s for the water. -----PeeTee
