Why isn't the EEC saying anything about it, is it because they are all at it?

You've hit the nail on the head because the EEC is so corrupt that they are in no position to criticise the British Government dishonest as it is. Neil Kinnock was allegedly sent to sort it out but like the rest soon had his nose in the trough. I suppose the problem is that for centuries corruption has been a way of life for many politicians in continental countries and now the 'pickings' are ten times better they can't resist temptation.

Become? I'm sorry - what history books have you been reading? All governments are corrupt to a certain degree, because people are generally self-serving idiots. The EEC won't do anything about it because they either know it's inevitable, or they're also as double minded and thieving as the rest of them
