E type Jaguar, had a 2yr old 3.8 str 6 soft top when I was 21 & lived to tell the story. More fun then as there were no speed limits other than 30mph in built up areas & then as fast as you liked, even then police had to follow you for 1/4 mile to check your speed in 30 limit (fantastic)

My first vehicle was an A35 Austin van, brand new. But my favourite was the next vehicle. It was a Ford Anglia with a 1000cc engine and it was a lime green. The same type car, for the younger ones among you, is used as a police car in Heartbeat. Top speed was about 85mph and it did about 35 miles to the gallon. I had it for 3 years and it was 1 year old when I bought it for £399.00. I moved from that car to a Ford Corsair.

Not an amazing car, but my fave car ever is a Ford Fiesta 1.1 LX (J reg or thereabouts). Sounds crappy, cause most people will say a Ferrari, or something, but looks aren't everything. I love this car. Have some fond memories of an LX. And I'm not telling you what they are.

My favourite super-car would be a McLaren F1. We presently own an Audi Avant TDI Sport which is economical and a joy to drive and I run around in an Audi TT Roadster(non quatro) that, notwithstanding comments about its lack of sporting prowess , is great fun to drive and nice to look at.

The short wheel base Audi Quattro of the early eighties that Hanu Mikkola rallied.A truly remarkable evolution in world rallying. The first time this car was seen in world rallying it was used as a stage recky/pace car and actually beat all the stage times of the competing cars on the rally.

The Mercedes 300SL. It has the looks and the performance for its time. It looks great with those gullwing doors and even today, 50 years later there has not been a better looking car.
