About six years ago, I was halfway through taping Cinderella on Christmas Eve when my system decided to jump from the Astra to another satellite. All over Christmas, we could only get Middle Eastern television. It was Ramadan and I was very upset that I couldn't understand Arabic, it all looked terrribly interesting.

As for if I ever flick through them, of course I do. Before I went digital, I used to love falling asleep to Space Night and what I called The Train both on German television. I was very disappointed when they vanished when I changed from analogue to digital and would love to know if I can still get them.

I can speak French a little and like to practice with the French channel and I often listen in to the Islam channel. A lot of the problems in the country today is that we don't understand each other, so I try to by watching our Muslim friends on their own channels.

Yes! You mean satellite, don't you? I love watching foreign channels, but not for more than half an hour. I like the way they translate films and looks funny when I see famous Hollywood actors to speak another language.

Yes, in hotels but here at home our cable company does not carry the channels like Univision which I would like to bone up on my Spanish.

Yep, I used to like those two German DJ's who did a late night music show, couldn't understand a word they were saying but the music was good.
