You can enroll in a free course give out by adult education public schools. It is called Learning English as a Second Language - or ESL for adults.Call your local board of education building and ask for the adult ed department - they will be able to guide you.
Some local colleges will offer programs for ELLs (English language learners) but there is a fee involved.

First, you need to go to a class or school, then you need to practice. Getting an English dictionary may help. If you are an immigrant from another country, like, you might be Spanish, get a Spanish-English dictionary.
