I didn't believe it until I checked out some videos on YouTube. Either she has some mental health problems, possibly some post-partum illness or she's taking this media-whoring too far. The Manson family shaved their heads and carved X's in their foreheads 37 years ago to get media attention. Before I just disliked her but now I'm starting to feel genuine pity for her because I really think there's something wrong with this poor woman.

Even though I think Britney Spears is in a horrible downward spiral, and she's no where near my favorite person, I think she looks pretty sexy bald.
Don't get me wrong, she's kind of a freak and she's completely losing it, but I thought she looked pretty good in the video of her at the tattoo parlor. She looked kind of rock 'n roll. If she shaved her head because she wanted a new look, good for her. But if she's losing her mind and, I believe, sadly, she might be, than that's just sad. She has young children that need a mother.

She is NOT YOUNG. She is an adult now. She needs to grow up.
I am around her same age. Ive been to Afghanistan once and Iraq twice, and will probably be heading back again soon.
Britney Spears and her type couldnt last 30 seconds in the real world.

I guess there was just TOO MUCH attention on Anna Nicoles life and Britney couldnt STAND IT anymore!

I care. I think it'll do her a lot of good to be liberated from the vanity and burden of hair. She probalby feels incredibly free. I hope a lot of young women will emulate her. Bald heads are cool for women, alcohol abuse is not.

It's her body and her hair, Sinaed shaved her head as a rebellious gesture, she was being told by her manager and powers that be she needed to be more feminine. She had long flowing locks at the time... so she shaved her head after they told her that. Women that are strong independent capable and self confident, can and will be successful at whatever they do, with or without hair. Her fans will will still buy her albums and cheer her on, look at Michael Jackson, he looks like his pet chimpanzee after changing his looks, and he's still popular.

She has issues and is trying to begin new by "cutting away" all the bad in her life. She needs goo people around her to help her - not the hangers-on who just want to use her. That being said - Sinead O'Conner shaved her head. Where is she now? Hmmm - not sure.
