I got this new computer and it came with windows vista....
All I had to do was switch it on and wait for windows to load files ...
Once that was done I had to choose a name for my computer and password..
I did that and then it came to the welcome screen...
I had to type in my password to log on....

Well I typed it in and it says "logging on to user profile service failed"
'user profile cant load"

What can I do?
I typed in the right password...so thats not the problem..
How can I get past this?
Please anybody help

Intentionally type the wrong password and see if you get the same error. I'm not sure if that error is telling you it's the password or something wrong with Windows configuring your profile. Also make sure you're not stuck in caps-lock.

If you haven't already too, restart the PC.

hi...have you tried that when the 'welcome' screen comes up...'not' typing a password?...just hit the 'enter' button and see if it boots up fully?
