well, there is no should or shouldn't, you have no legal rights to your stepchildren....but you can always ask her if you can visit or take them to the movies or something....especially if you have an established relationship....but if she's bitter towards her ex and/or you, there is no way that I know for you to MAKE her.

If you have a good relationship with them and you usually see them, then yes she should. You can't make her do it but it would be the right thing to do. I have an ex and he goes out of state a lot for work and she still gets the kids, I don't have a problem with it. It all depends on the relationship that you have with her.

Absolutely! You are a parent to them as well. You are a very important part of their lives. The ex may be afraid that they'll form more of a bond with you over her. Just tell her that you'd really like to see the kids. Start small, say you want to take them to lunch or dinner. Offer to take them for a few hours if she has errands to run, etc.

If you are on good terms with the ex and generally spend time with the kids then yes. Would give her a break and give you a chance to get to know the kids even better. It is her decision.

only if the court has ordered visitation that includes you. I guess if you all have a good relationship then there wouldnt be a problem, and she would probably be glad to get a break from the little heathens, but i dont see any law that would force her to.
