A friend offered me tickets to see the play Doubt. Has anyone seen it? Is it as intriguing/disturbing/thought-provoking as the reviews suggest?

I just saw it for the 2nd time last night in Boston (1st time in NYC with the original cast). Even though Cherry Jones is the only cast member appearing in the current tour, she IS the show and the reason to see it. She's been able to successfully capture the essence of being a nun running a Bronx Catholic school in the 1960s. Despite her the character's status within the church and the protocol she must follow when confronting a grievance, her own convictions take precedence above everything else in her attempt to hopefully expose a dire situation that is still prevalent in today's society. Do yourself a favor and see it!
