Okay, here's what you need to do:

1) Start up your computer
2) Keep pressing F8 on your keyboard
3) You will get a screen where you can only use the keyboard to select stuff, choose Safe Mode
4) Log on as Administrator (the computer will be a bit slower, but be patient)
5) Remove the password for your user account
6) Restart your computer
7) Log on as your usual username
8) Now you can either keep your username without a password or add a new one that you can remember

Hope that solves it! Good luck!

I think you mean a password on your cmos, before your computer boots up. You might need to take the computer to a technician. I know on older systems you can open up your computer and disconnect the cmos/bios battery and this should reset the computer cmos/bios settings to factory defaults am not sure about newer systems but it might be the same. The cmos/bios battery is on the motherboard. This should be done by someone who knows about computer hardware. Hope this helps...

Is the computer yours, as in "ownership",
why have you forgot your user-name and password for your computer, surely you know who you are ?
most people would write it down and put in a safe place just in case they do some how manage to to forget their user-name and password. and no I don't know how to help you.

I have no idea. I think you may have some type of computer, but I don't know anything else. You need to give some kind of hint, like: what make/model and what operating system.
