Frankly, friend, no. They all want money from you in the first instance then never pay up. Steer well clear.

"Work from home jobs" are almost non-existent. Adverts for envelope stuffing, data entry work, and home-based telesales etc. are 99% scams.
The only way you can make money working from home is by working for yourself. You might like to check out the following idea.
You can make money three different ways, selling reports online...
The first way is to obtain a report with resale rights. This means you can sell it over and over again. Check out:
http://www.hiphil.net/7secrets.html
The second way is to write about what you already know, for example if you are a stay-at-home mom, then maybe you could write a report about some aspect of child care, or how you coped with breast feeding. Or if you have quit smoking, then write about the strategies you used to give it up. If you are a dog or cat lover, you could write a report on pet care.
The third way is to find out what people want to know about, for example what questions do people ask on your favourite forums?
Do some research (this is very simple using the Internet) to find answers to the questions people ask, and solutions to their problems.
Then compile your findings into a report.
Creating a report might sound difficult, but if you can use a computer, then you can produce a report. You can download free word processing software here:
http://www.easyofficesuite.com/
This software enables you to produce a report in industry standard Portable Document Format (PDF).
A typical report need only be about 30 pages long.

As you righty guessed, most are scams..... but please dont fall for them, you will end up pennyless and peeved!
How about Child minding, retraining for a new job, Nursing(?), office work, shops, factories, Computer helper.......
A trip to the job centre can give you a heads up.... maybe even temping (variety of skills needed).
Good luck but re read the first line of my answer again.

Only if you're self employed. However, you could always be the first if you have a scheme for others to join.
