Yes, they carry their young inside their mouths.
They occasionally release the young outside for feeding.

For the first time i saw that, i thought the fish was eating them.
Later i found out it was carrying their young, when it released them again and again inside the mouth.

I have seen it in 'Planet earth - Fresh waters' (Discovery Channel India)

um, no...they do not carry them in their mouths. They don't carry them at all. There is no reason for them to. They are able to move and locate their food source (the nipple) from birth and recognize their mother from all the other sea lions not too soon afterwards. The mother stays with the pup until it is able to swim, and then it leads the pup where it needs to go. No carrying involved.

Do you mean before or after birth? They give birth to live young....( not by hatching an egg) and yep....they carry them in their mouths.
