MY TRUCK SOME TIMES SHIFTS REAL HARD,ALMOST FEELS LIKE ITS JERKING BUT IT DOSN'T DO IT EVERY DAY OR EVEN EVERY WEEK JUST ONCE IN A WHILE IT HAS O/D AND SOME TIMES THE LIGHT WILL COME ON AND BLINK BUT IT GOES OFF IF YOU RESTART IT THE TRUCK HAS APPROX 38K MILES

Definately take it to Ford! Have them run a diagnostic on it and have their tranny guy take a gander. When it comes to transmissions, you don't want to wait around! Do you have an after-market warranty or did you purchase an extended warranty? That could help you out if you did. And when was the last time you had the trans serviced? That could also be a factor. Sounds like the problem is in the electronics solenoid maybe take it to the dealership and they can plug it up and tell you exactly what your problems is probably will coat you about $60 bucks but it will be worth it in the long run You can't play guessing games with modern day transmissions to much electronics good luck

their , is some stueff you can get at wal mark are aoto zone, call tran... x, i found it to be very good, it will not hurt your tran,an you add it to the other fuild,after putting it in , about 5 miles you should see a different,,an too it got a mony back, on it if you dont like it ,

ill tell you what to do.change the oil and filter and go get some trans-medic.it is great.i have a friend and thats what it was doing and i told him about it and he drove that car for over a year,till the frame went.trans-medic is what i use and mine works fine,and i got o/d also.
