Speedtouch 585 modem...adding additional wireless clients...?

Hi

I have just bought a speedtouch 585 modem/router, and I'm trying to work out how to set it up for wireless access.

I have set it up to aloow myself to connect to it wirelessly, but I'm having a lot of trouble trying to add my wife's laptop to the wireless access. Couls anybody pout there guide me through the additional wireless client setup? Cheers...

Now Bsnl had fix fiber net connection with ONT 404i modem, there is no wireless connection ,before i am using Speed touch 585 wireless modem, how i can connect both to get on mobile phones as wifi connection.

you dont say if your wifes laptop is wifi enabled but it wont matter because the setup to find a wireless network is the same if you have a usb/wireless card/wifi

for the usb or card insert the disk and install the software, then insert the usb adapter or card, then install the equipment windows will find it once connected.

then look for the connection in the lower right of the task bar, right click the icon, then left click 'view wireless networks'

on the screen you should find if it has found it your router.

highlight your router and click connect it should then connect to your router automatically unless you have put an encryptilon key in then you will be asked for the keyto be inserted
