Can someone please help me? Our science teacher asked us to research about the newest planet named after a Filipino science teacher and I'm really running out of time! Please help me? I like to have the link on what site is more relevant about my research.

It's called Biyo and it's just a tiny asteroid and not a planet. She wrote a kids book about a trip to a planet called Biyo and they named the asteroid after her

Sorry, but after serching for a while (and an interesting search it was), I could not find a planet named after any individual. All extrasolar planets seem to have such interesting names as OGLE 2003-BLG-235/MOA 2003-BLG-53.

However, at this site:

I did find a downloadable spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel) with a list of extrasolar planets.

Is is possible the planet name you are looking for is an "unoffical name". In that case it may be very difficult to find if you don't have the actual name.
