keeping my environment neat and orderly, and above all fighting someone just because he happens to live in another country.
Does this mean I am not really cut out for the military? Can I just sign up for the educational benefits and the world tour?

Well--from the mildly humorous tone in your question...I'm not sure you really want a serious answer but hey, it's Saturday and I'm in a good mood so here goes:

If you sincerely believe that there are never times we should use force to protect our lifestyle, belief systems security or resources...and you are opposed to helping others do so, then you would not be accepted to serve anyway. That kind of ideologue is called a conscientious objector and the all-volunteer force in the United States will not enlist people who do not believe in doing harm to others under any circumstance.

Most of the other objections you mentioned--I share; and I've been serving for nearly a quarter century. We can all learn to take orders, get up early, clean our rooms, etc. In fact, MOST adults have to come around to those things even if they never serve one day in uniform; they're a cultural inevitability.

If you truly are interested in the military way of life in order to garner benefits (and for no other reason), you should probably look for those benefits elsewhere.

Your call--there's no draft. Okay?

Yeah, that's what it means!!!!
Get a life and go have tea with Al Gore and discuss

In the mean time men and women of your age
will fight and die to insure your freedoms!
Grow up.

I suggest you find a career in a different branch of governmental service, if you haven't already taken the Oath.

HAHAHA! Dude, please tell me yr joking? What you don't like is the basis of the military. Rather try for the airforce. ITs more relaxed, and I'm sure they offer similar educational packages.
