Yes.
I did asearch on wikipedia.org
"Men are said to have worn loincloths in ancient Greece and Rome, though it is unclear whether Greek women wore undergarments. Mosaics of the Roman period indicate Roman women (primarily in an athletic context, whilst wearing nothing else) sometimes wore wrapped breastcloths or brassieres made of soft leather, along with loincloths and possibly something like panties."'

Roman's wear many types of underwear, similar to other European men. The trend in Italy right now is stretch briefs in a multitude of colors or fancy pattern...due to the visibility they will have while worn with the latest low-rise jeans, hanging so low that their sexy skivvies can be seen from quite a distance.

not really. under their togas and stuff they wore something called a tunica, which was like an undershirt. If you are talking about underwear (like we use now), no. Occasionally they would wear loincloths. Really rich people bought shorts, but they were VERY expensive. Hope it helped.

Who knows? Why would it matter? Ask a Scotsman what he wears under his kilt - I was told by a Scot that the only time they wear nothing under the kilt is when they go to battle.
