Less is more. Less make-up, less jewellery, less accessories.

Keep your look simple, with clean classic styles.

Practice and play with your make-up at home A LOT, before wearing it out. Most women who look well put together have practiced a lot first.

Take some pics of yourself after you're made up, so you can better see the areas that need playing up or toning down.

Above all, no light blue blue eyeshadow ( it looks cheap on everyone!) and easy on the shiny lip glosses. The best lip colours are the ones that are the same as your natural colour but a deeper shade. Try the L'Oreal and Covergirl semi-permanent lipsticks. They'll stay put until you take them off with baby oil and they look really good for up to 12 hours or so.

Have fun :D

What type of girl do you wish to be? Once you've determined that all you need to do is go to the mall and pick out the most appropriate attire. You won't get strange looks because you can say you're buying for your mom or wife or whoever. Don't forget the handbag and shoes..they should be functional yet stylish.

First decide on the look you're after. Then buy the clothing that fits that look.

Start with the foundations, like panties, bra, slip (if you like) pantyhose. Then decide skirt and blouse, or a dress or slacks and top. Footwear can fit the outfit. Heels or flats.

Look at what women are wearing and copy them.
