Their original plan was to try and release a new album this year, but in Rolling Stone Magizine, I believe it was, Billie Joe said that mid-late 2008 will be a good bet for a new album. They want to release it later because they don't want it to be considered in any way to be a follow up to American Idiot. So, if expecations come true, they will probably be touring starting somewhere between January and May 2009. I'm sure the wait will be worth it!

Maybe but i don't know where. And I also heard green day has a new album to lunch this year

i dont think so. theyve been done for a while. i think it was last summer when they broke up.
