although i initially never liked howard, he is doing a far better job than when Labor was in charge
he takes into account things that affect the country, yes sometimes he doesnt realise the 'people' but he really wants to keep australia in a good position unlike previous PM's who didnt give a rats about the economy etc
(which is why when Labor was in govt, interest rates where 19%) but along came Howard and look at the rates now, yes they are slightly high but not overthetop like many yrs ago
