i am going to rhodes in june. how bad will the mosquitoes be ? i really hate the little buggers LOL

There are going to be some mosquitos, but it's not like you're going to a tropical jungle! Just use a mosquito repellent lotion, they sell them everywhere in pharmacie in Greece, there are some natural ones, no chemicals.

I am from Rhodes(it is known here this)I live in Rhodes, but I cant believe that there are stupids who informed you like that as if it wa Ethiopia...My God...It is a civilised island, and world hertage city.
Personally in France I have been bited by a mosquito and for 1 month I couldnt move my hand I swear...

hi, as i used to work for TUI, i lived in Rhodes the whole summer of 2005. There is no particular problem with the mosquitoes, the answers of Tolis and cpinatsi is very good.

There are not any special mosquitoes in Rhodes.
Anyway there is a liquid called Autan that helps very much

well usually in summer time mosquitoes are found all over the world
so just use mosquito repelent and youll be ok.

I was a rep there in 2005 summer and it wasn't that bad i did get bit a few times just use cream if you are prone to them
