the ball was tipped by a cav then it touched a lakers hand then went to the backcourt and was retrieved by the laker...the original call was reversed as the officials discussed it...replays showed that it was a laker who last touched the ball before it went to the backcourt..since that was the case the original call should've stood since last touch was the team who had possession?

this one is a tough call since possession is the issue....technically the mere fact that a cav touched the ball doesnt necessarily mean the lakers lost possession...since a laker touched it before it went into the backcourt and then it was retrieved by another laker and there was no reset of the 24 second clock to indicate a loss of possession then it definitely was a violation of over and back and the lakers should've been charged a turnover....the key issue is last touch...if the ball was touched last by a cav then definitely no violation...i think the referees thought that it was touched last by a cav and thats why it was reversed

It doesn't matter who touched it last

the point was a cav touched it and knocked it loose so it was a freeball and you can go back and get the ball in that case

It was an obvious call

It's all about having possession of the ball, a laker didn't have full possession of the ball when it went into the back court or before hand for that matter

it was a loose ball

officials will miss calls, they are human, that and unfortunately you cant use instant replay on every questionable call because it would stop the flow of the game, lengthen the time of the game and ultimately make it less interesting...
