Hello there.
The Tsokkos Ann-Maria is a 4 star hotel on Nissi Bay Avenue. It was built maybe around 5 years ago and is typical of the Tsokkos chain of hotels. It backs onto a small beach which is not particularly typical of the beautifull beaches elsewhere in Ayia Napa, but it's ok for sunbathing. Most people stay around the pool as it has a lovely lagoon type swimming pool which is of a fairly reasonable size surrounded by sun terraces.

Tsokkos hotels are a chain owned by Andreas Tssokkos. The AnnMaria is one of his newer hotels and it's reasonably well maintained. If I am brutally honest, it gets a 4 star rating, but I'd say compared to the other non-tsokkos hotels of the same rating it is poor. Thats not to say it's a bad hotel, just that if you compare it to the Adams beach or The Olympic Laggon resort hotels which are also rated as 4 stars the AnnMaria cannot compete.
I'd say that it's not luxurious but if you go expecting a very decent 3 star you will not be dissapointed.
However, it is perfectly fine for a family or group of friends for a comfortable holiday and much less expensive than the larger more luxurious hotels in the same area.

You'll find the food is reasonable and the choice is varied. They tend to do either HB or AI. The Tsokkos AI is a good standard and well worth considering.

I've stayed in the AnnMaria twice- most rooms either overlook the pool or the sea and are very comfortable with good air-conditioning. The public areas are not huge but adequate and the staff were ok- mainly Russian but they were nice people.

I think you also asked about The Thalassaki, and if it were me and I had the choice, Id prefer the AnnMaria although Thalassaki is next door if I remember rightly and might be better as a self catering option for the larger families.

You can't do much wrong with the AnnMaria- its a decent place to stay with a good location far enough away from the town centre but close enough for all the Ayia Napa attractions.

Wherever you end up, I hope you have a lovely holiday- all the best!
