Why are only Muslims suicide bombers?

I just woke up and read yahoo news and there in the headlines are 2 more suicide bombings, one in Iraq killing 9 innocent people at a market and another in Pakistan killing 15 people in a courtroom. What makes these people resort to such barbarism and why do they hold life in such low esteem?

Muslims are not the only suicide bombers.

1) Japanese kamikaze pilots flew explosive-laden aircraft into US military targets in WWII
2) Following World War II, Viet Minh "death volunteers" fought against the French colonial army by using a long stick-like explosive to detonate French tanks, as part of their urban warfare tactics.
3) More recently The Tamil Tigers (Hindus), who have been waging an insurgent campaign against the Sri Lankan government, were using suicide attacks.
4) You may have forgotten about the Chechen separatists who blew up themselves and many civilians with them inside a Moscow theater in 2002
5) In December 22, 2001, Richard Reid attempted to destroy the American Airlines Flight 63 by the means of a bomb hidden in a shoe. He was arrested after his attempt was foiled when he was unable to light the bomb's fuse.
6) A car bomb exploded near the Jammu and Kashmir State Assembly on October 1, 2001, killing 27 people on an attack that was blamed on Kashmiri separatists (numerous groups fighting against India).

There have been Muslim suicide bombers in Lebanon's civil war, in the Palestinian-Israeli civil war, and of course in the US-Iraqi war. But not *all* suicide bombers are Muslim.

You should get your facts straight, and probably search more. It has been a lot of American suicide bombers too, is just we don't hear it much, the media hides everything they can from us.. Try to search the news from other countries as well, not coming from USA and you might find some differences..Remember if you want to change the world start by changing the MEDIA....

The Qu'ran instructs Muslims that anyone who is not of Islam is an "infidel", and the Qu'ran states that infidels must be killed. A Muslim is not assured of salvation when they die, but according to their Qu'ran, the guaranteed way to heaven is to kill an enemy of Islam, meaning "infidels". Then, only then, are they assured heaven.

So if you are a Christian, a Jew, a Hindu, Buddhist, any non-Muslim, you fall into the ranks of the "infidel." So a Muslim has no qualms about strapping on a bomb vest and blowing themselves up, along with innocent people. They believe that they've killed infidels, and will be going to heaven. For those here in the real world, we call that Islamic Terrorism.

i don't think that muslims are the only suicide bombers , i even don't think that they in general suicide bombers and by the way i am muslim and i am proud of it no matter what others say .

what do you think that we would do if the american steal the oil from iraq becouse of the money and killed the presednt in one of our Occasions .
and in pakistan i don't think that all of them are terrorests and some of bthem become desprate to suicide

Because their religion "allows" more easily to be pushed into this kind of action. Something like that happen when the USA invade Japan. Shintoism was the "right" kind of religion that "dictated" the kamikaze behavior. Buddhism was pushed aside by the Japanese government.
