Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.

Though Australia were considered hot favourites till recently, their poor performance against england and New Zeland does not go well in their world cup preparation. Presently South Africa looks to be better team.

However, no team can take the world cup for granted. The final outcome will depend upoln as to which team perform consistently in the world cup. Presently all 8 top teams stand a chance to win the world cup.

No! I think Australia had lost the capability of winning the World Cup - 2007 because upto today i.e. 17-02-2007, Australia had lost three consecutive matches vs England and Newzeland. I surely tell you one that INDIA has the capability of winning the World Cup -2007 because today i.e. on 17-02-2007, INDIA won the Hero Honda cup -2007 against Sri Lanka and won two consecutive ODI series. So I support my ( our) India.

Presently Aussies are the favorites to win the world cup. They play a team game. Remember when Shane Warne was out.. Still they won. Not a matter of Clarke or Symonds.

Only a bad day will stop them from winning the cup..

No..I dont think so.
Looking at the poor performance in recent season, chances of australia winning WC are very thin.
Most Likely team in respective order to win WC are:
1. South Africa
2. West Indies (surprised? watch out for them..)
3. Australia
4. Pakistan
5. India
6. England
7. New Zealand
8. Sri Lanka

it is always the team effort that wins the matches. we can`t rule them out from winning the word cup. But one thing is true to win the world cup players should be in winning mood. All players should be in high spirits and should posses highest self confidence. Looking at the performance of the Indian Team today i concider Indian team has higher chances of wiining the world cup

according to me australia will not win the 2007 world cup as there is a lot of competition among our indian players and the growing fitness and the improvement of south african players and many other countries have increased their potential and thus may pose a strong challenge to the australians

Australia was agood team, there was no doubt about thus.but we
can't able to tell Australia had win. There are also other teams
which are also efficient as much as Australia. For example in recently ENGLAND had win the series against tha Australians.
ENGALAND win both the finals. Many people doesn't think that England had win the series. So,we can't decide anything. There are also super teams like INDIA,SOUTHSFRICA,PAKISTAN,
SRILANKA,NEWZEALAND.So the team which had HIGH CONFIDENCE,GOOD TEAM SPIRIT,will win the series.Who knowsKENYA,ZIMBABAY,BANGLADESH also had achance to win the WORLD CUP,if they work hard.
So,my thought is Which team had good confidence, will win the victory
