In what way India is lacking to become a developed country.............................................................Is it Economy,politicians,government,corruption,poverty etc ???????????

main difference is population if income in india is equally distributed and we all start paying all our taxes and the fund raised is truthfully used we will be a developed country in no time

Find a thing to bind all people into common cause for long duration. WWII did it for the Americans and they had seas to cross. India has the prospect of long marches. The only question is how far Indians will walk for the duration. With the blood of Alexander The Great in Indians perhaps India should
gaze westward past Pakistan for empire building purposes.

Essential ingredients
A healthy skilled work force-not just college educated but mechanics, plumbers etc as well as high literacy rates so people can follow written directions
Infrastructure for transportation, communication, schools, etc
Capital investment in the means of production to make workers productive, factories, offices, computers, etc

I don't know that India is lacking anything, but it takes at least a generation to develop a skilled work force,

Freedom, property rights, rule of law, education, and ideas.

India has plenty but needs more. Knowledge will set them free.
