I had/have one, I use it as a spare now. I actually think it is as good as any other buggy on the market. Not perfect, mind, but pretty good, especially considering the price.
The car seat and base are great and I can't fault them. The car seat locks onto the pushchair just fine. It handles well and is very light - I have a friend with a pramette who is surprised every time by how light it is. I found it easy to put up and down although it is a 2 handed job, so no baby on hip and manage 1 handed. The shopping basket is generous.
On the minus side, I found that the 3 seat positions are flat, nearly flat and upright, nothing in between - and only the flat and upright positions are easy to adjust. I found that the apron from the back of the hood loses its shape and looks loose very quickly. Oh, its hard to put things in the shopping basket while baby is sleeping but this is a common fault.
On the whole I would say it is fantastic value for money, especially as the travel system for the early days is so good. If you end up buying a new buggy at 6 months (which is what we did) when your requirements are different, maybe a Quest or a Triumph, then you'll still have spent way less in total than most people spend on the first one!!!

I quite liked the look of those too when i was pregnant. The only reason i did,nt get one is because my dad kindly bought me one.
I don,t think that there is anything wrong with it the only reason it is so cheap is because it,s motherare,s own make.
I,ve had plenty of buggies from mothercare and did have problems with a few of them due to having a big baby. But i have tto say mothercare were brilliant and either gave me a new buggie or a replacement one whilst my own was being repaired.
Mind you it would have to be within the guarantee time. When you purchase a pram from mothercare they give you a sticker to put on the frame. This is to show when you bought it and when the guarantee will be up.
So i,d say go for it. Good luck.

I dont rate mothercare prams I bought a travel systemn similar but a bit more expensive like the trenton in current brochure. It was horrible to push heavy and became wobbly after just 3 months. I returned it to mothercare who said they couldnt do anything about it as they didnt think it was faulty. I have 2 sons and have had 6 prams all mamasPapas and maclaren which I never had any trouble with. I regretted buying a cheaper pram (the mothercareone) as I ended up paying out out more money for another one. Its true the price affects the quallity.

My wife and I have only ever used mamas and papas and maclaren or graco for our prams and strollers so we dont have personal experience of using mothercare prams etc however we know alot of people who have used mothercare prams and travel systems and have had no problems whatsoever. Mothercare is a huge company and all their products conform to the right standards so I would say go for it. The fact that its such a great a price is another bonus, more money doesnt mean thats its poorer quality in all cases, as quite often you end up only paying for the name like maclaren and mamas and papas. I have also heard that they provide a great service if your pram or stroller needs replaced or fixed, and alot of other shops dont have this service available.

i dont understand yet i dont fee mothercare, i bought a double buggy from there that broke and that they accused me of putting to lots weight in it? before everything there replaced into no weight limit purely age limit on the guidelines and my toddlers the place interior of those regardless of the actuality that vast for there age. it replaced into purely weeks previous destroy the bank and that they refused to help. so if it fee alot and broke i've got self belief there might desire to be a seize whilst it relatively is so inexpensive????
