What is the purpose of that essay? That is the first thing. Are you trying to persuade, inform or just present a mere idea. Then, think who your audience will be. That is important. Second, organized your thought. What it is that you are trying to say? Have them listed in accordingly. Have the introduction, a striking introduction. It may be a quotation that is related to the topic. That is called the quotation lead for the writers. You can also start a questionnaire lead or a just a plain striking statement. Then have the content or the body. Here you may write the different experiences both good and bad. Conclude your essay with what you've learned out of those experiences.
It is important to keep your paragraph in coherence. In that way, you can have a smooth flow of ideas in you essay. Happy writing. I hope this helps. A clue, have a topic sentence for each paragraph.
