Does anyone know what criteria is used to decide if this is will be the year of the Golden Pig?

Are there any Chinese astronomers out there who could tell me?

There are 2 ways to consider this year. Those who identify this pig year using the heavenly stem call it the year of the (Yin) Fire pig. Those who identify this pig based on the position within the 5 elements identify it as the year of the golden (or gold or metal) pig. There are 5 elements. Metal (gold) is the 4th element. The 24th year of the 60 year cycle (this year) is the 4th year of the 5th cycle, and so is the metal (gold) year.

Pls dont bring astronomy into this!
Astronomy is a science, you should say Astrology.

This is the criteria:
If the year ends in 0 it is Yang Metal.
If the year ends in 1 it is Yin Metal.

And this the year of the Fire Pig!
