Sounds like I.P.S.
1) It's always a bad idea to date in the workplace as a general rule because break-ups can tend to make personal and work life miserable.

2) Cut the work guy loose and be as nice as possible. Tell him you want to date someone else. If he decides to kick you to the curb for it, it won't be because you're a liar.

3) If the grass looks greener on the other side, it's usually because there is more shxt.

4) If it doesn't work out with the other guy, and your work buddy is a moron...he may sit in the wings and wait for you.

Life...it can be a real bxtch sometimes. Go for what you think you want, but there are always going to be repercussions...good or bad for everything you do in life.
Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Starters never date someone you work with! Because they will always be there looking at you, specially if it's a bad brake up. What is wrong with the first guy, sounds like he'd be a good husband, if you give him half a chance? Just take him out to a nice quiet dinner somewhere, and tell him you really like him and want to be friends, but you've found someone else. Don't just sneak around the corner with the other guy until you brake it off with the first, bad! If he's a real man, he'll just bow out. You might try making it feel like its for his good.

OK, choose wether you want a friend or a husband... you can't just dump the first guy for the other and expect him to remain you life long friend... are you in an age that are ready to get married and settle down/ then don't waste your time and go for the guy that is right for marriage... make him your life long friend and the first guy find his happiness with someone else.

Well, you can't have both. You just gotta break up the good old fashioned way. Then say you still wanna be friends...either way, the sooner the better.
