My boyfriend has been very distant with me, telling me he needs time for himself and time to apply for new jobs as he is very unhappy with his current job. I am so worried about it? I have not been able to concentrate on anything else. I want to talk to him but then I don't want to push him away? We have been in contact but only a little, on Valentine's he texted and he called but I miss him so much and I want to talk to him?

do not call him, you will only appear needy and push him further away. Leave him alone completely and let him contact you, busy yourself and don't give in to your feelings for him.
I am sorry he is putting you through this it's not very nice to be pushed away by someone who is supposed to love you especially on valentines day, but you have to respect his wishes right now.
I hope he comes to his senses soon, I think the reasons he has given you may just be an excuse but I don't know what the truth could be, I am sorry.

" I need more space" is often times code for I am doinking other people. My self and many of my friends have gone through this. Just roll your eyes when he says that, call up one of your girl friends in front of him and say real loud Hey lets go party, What bar did that cute bartender work at? Start talking non stop and give him a wave and say call me some time. He will get the message loud and clear and will come back to you if he really cares.

Sounds to me like he is not very happy at the moment and wants to be left alone to think. Men bottle there troubles up which is not very healthy but if you push him to talk you may push him away. Wait for him to come to you. However remember not to be to soft on him as you have feelings as well. Don't be a door mat.

Give him just what he has asked for. Space, time to himself. Dont be depressed when he does call. Dont let him see that this bothers you. Dont text, email or call him. If he is really interested in continuing the relationship, he will wonder what has happened to you. He iwll see that you are independent and strong...not needy and clingy.

Move on. He is applying the oldest trick in the "Dumper's handbook". Next time play a little hard to get. Guys really like the challenge and it keeps us on our toes.

You've got no choice but to leave him be. Let him come to you if he wants to but get on with your life as though he is no longer a part of it.

He's busy with the Bimbo he hooked up with. He'll have time for you when he doesn't have nobody else. You'll see.
