Hurricane. I've been through hurricanes so I know what that's like but never a blizzard. I can only imagine.

I think a blizzard is safer-a hurricane is more destructive and your roof can blow off or worse. I have been through both also and the hurricane was worse for me.

Blizzard. I love snow and can't get enough of it, and all the stored food in the world won't be of any use to you when your house is picked up and deposited miles away.

I grew up in the Adirondack Mountains in NY,so I am used to the snow and I know what to expect with it. I wouldn't know the first thing about a hurricane. They scare the hell out of me.

I've never been through any.....to tell you the truth tho.....I'd rather go through an earthquake any day, I'm from earthquake country. I know people look at me strange here too where I live in MI. I'm originally from California.
