apply lots of PVA glue (2 parts water 1 part glue) to thin pieces of paper, slowly apply them and layer them into the shape you want, if part of your creation starts drying before you're ready to leave it to set then keep putting the glue on to keep it moist. Once set and dry it's ready to paint!

The easiest way to make papier mache is to use strips of old news papers, a watery paste made from flour and water, and a balloon.
Blow the balloon to the desired size.
Get a glass jar and remove its lid and suspend the balloon into the jar to ensure it stays in an upright position.
Dip the newspaper strips into the watery paste made from mixing 3 table spoons of regular flour in a glass of water.
Layer the wet strips on the balloon until it is completely covered.
Let it dry completely.
When it is dry, prick the balloon with a pin and discard.
Now you have a papier mache shell.
Decide what you want it to be, e.g., mask, bowl, vase, etc.
Cut it, paint it and decorate it as you desire.
Voila, now you have a papier machie piece of art!

Try tearing some soft paper, like tissue paper, in to small pieces and then add PVA glue and water. You'll have to play around with the amounts. Too much PVA and the tissue just sticks to your fingers, too much water and it will barely stick to anything! Then mix it with your fingers until all the paper is covered and you're ready to go. Be prepared to get really messy!

u can get urself a bottle of "plaster of paris". then u add water to make not to wet , but not too gooey either. make it a bit like glue>> then u dip pieces of paper into the mixture and press down on where u want it to stick. leave to dry and ther u have it.
If u dont have plaster of paris and stuff, u can also mix cornflour and milk, i think, and make the same mixture. good luk!!
