Pregnancy does not have to be painful, I was so scared of giving birth until I found this website and watched all the videos and decided on having a epidural.
Good luck...

The pain while delivering a child is negligible as compared to the pain one has to bear of not having a child. Ask child couples how much pain would they love to bear for a little angel. Relax, if you are pregnant. Think of all the good things you could do. Do all the good things you could do. Read something good. No bad thoughts should come to your mind when you are pregnant. Its a wonderful experience. Believe me pain is quite less say like what you did to get pregnant.

actually these pains are called labour pains which have three stages.
the whole process is to get the baby out from womb to vulva through vaginal canal. the skull of the foetus is not joined completely to allow it to pass easily without much discomfort either to foetus or mother. vaginal canal is mush elastic for this purpose. the pain actually is in the form of waves for the right movement to get the delivery.you can not understand the pain just by readin, hearing or watching. but the pain is immaterial in comparison of result.

Yes it hurts. It feels like the worst period pain you will ever encounter. I was so scared of how bad it was going to be but I ended up giving birth with no drugs or gas. Afterwards you forget about how much it hurt

in my experience, pregnancy videos are just going to freak you out. you really can't tell what's going on with someone just by looking at their face or listening to them screaming, you know? why make yourself scared. how much pain will you suffer? as much as you let yourself! no hospital is going to make you experience pain that you don't want to experience. know that you can get drugs and don't worry about it - fear and anxiety are the main cause of pain so relax, think about epidurals, and enjoy the experience!

hi - yes it hurts, no other way to put it. a lot! however, when you hold your newborn the pain is a dim and distant memory!
if you are pregnant, its a good idea to know what you can expect but do not dwell too much on the labor alone as it will drive you mad. enjoy your pregnancy.
xx
