Just to prove a point that we all are equal but yes we hate all wars??

Are they any better?

Recent photos of a US female army soldier torturing prisoners...something out of a fetish site. Her faimly was totally flabbergasted on her actions. She will prorbably walk away free and they will say she was coereced into it ,what hypocritical crap?

Are they any better ? or worse?, given the same circumstances?

shockingly a true fact is they have different standards of training much lowered so that they can qualify???

Ina real war will that help ?except providing entertainment to enemy soldiers when they are captured???

Why dont these independant females take up coal mining ,bridge laying all those jobs that we guys do and we take up nice cushy office jobs????

Oh no please the female is delecate surely you wont get a hard on seeing her emerge from a coal mine but then again maybe you will eh???

Women are unfortunately becoming more and more like men (with little of the chivalrous attitudes or creative initiative), leaving feminine ideals behind. Real ladies still exist, but they are becoming harder and harder to find. This could hopefully be merely a transitional period (as those wage "gaps" are) but it's hard to tell. Women are like any other group, in truth; they don't want the problems but they want the benefits. What they are doing is entirely sensible considering human nature, although it is plainly obvious that they are not at all as moral (in today's world) as a majority of them would have men believe.

To answer the question, women are in armed forces because they choose to be; they decide it would be fun, interesting, or possibly truly wish to serve their country. I can't deal out percentages for each group, but I can say that certain women are definitely bringing the armed services down. (That female torturer and false rape reporters are examples.)

I'm irritated...

Something out of a fetish site???? Have you seen fetish sites? These women have the leashes pulled tight... TIGHT... and they like it. And they are premeditated with an agenda... and it's self serving.

That female soldier was smiling for the camera... someone stuck a leash in her hand and she grinned for the camera... I'm sorry, but someone that is INTO making men squirm wouldn't be there posing for pictures... she would be taking advantage of her situation. With no slack in the lead and no grins... trust me.

On the chance that I haven't seen the photos that you are talking about, I will digress and simply answer the question:

The balance of power in the world is still largely masculine. And historically wars are more common when men are in power than when women are.

Women enlist in the armed forces because there truly IS something hypocritical about saying we want equality, "...but the men have to do the hard stuff."

...and just to expand awareness, men statistically still have the highest paying cushy office jobs too.

Hate to break the news to you, but most women in the armed forces are there to serve. I'm not justifying that anyone who is guilty should walk free, but these are two separate issues. You are choosing to use this as anecdotal evidence to justify your preconceived notions. This goes against the antiquated idea of the submissive woman and I'm guessing this is what causes you so much grief. Women are finding more and more opportunities to be in positions of leadership -- you know, like the president of Harvard. I'm guessing by the general cathartic nature of your question and comments you're pissed at a g/f, coworker, or perhaps eh, a female boss.

Men don't cause all wars, leaders cause wars, however because most leaders are men, anyone with a y chromosome gets blamed for all the fighting. Think about historical female leaders: Thatcher, two wars; Queen Elizabeth, 3 wars; Catherine the great, one war.

Violence and torture are wrong whoever commits them, of course there should be no difference based on sex. However, she hasn't been tried yet so we have to wait and see.

I don't think women should be allowed in front line service due to obvious physical differences, however they should be able to work in any other part of the armed forces. If a woman wants to fight in close combat, then she should have teh same physical requirements as a male candidate.

You seemed to rant a bit here and generally just be angry at women. Please don't lower yourself to sexism that we see all to often from feminists.

you need to look on the info objectively, conflict is grimy stinky nasty violent crude crass and particularly situations needed, the natives being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are amateurs, the British and American troops are expert infantrymen, experienced payed and geared up. They signed up, they knew the negative aspects. The conflict in eire grow to be a grimy one, very nasty and un-needed yet i'm particular lots of the troops that served knew they have been purely doing a job. If each guy or woman selections up a rifle questioning they're a hero or deserve compliment very quickly they're going to be a lifeless no one. Its a job thats all it relatively is.

Your women-bashing rants are becoming tiresome. I know it must be tough getting laid in whatever backwater you come from, but perhaps the fault is in the fact that you are so appallingly grotesque as a person, and not because women aren't the way you want them to be. Ever think of that? No, of course not...
