small ?? not sure what you mean but here is how downloading torrent works
1. Download Bittorent Program
2. Download Bitorent FIle/Movie/ ect
(this initial download is small about 125 kb
3. The initial download is loaded into Bittorent Program and the REAL MOVIE or FILE is download

Standard file sizes for torrents are:
~350MB for TV Shows &
~700MB for Movies

Hi, if you are referring to bit-torrents, then the best size to get are 370mb for TV and 770mb for movies, so that is 370mb for something that is 45mins appx, and 770mb for something that it 90mins appx. Anything lower, quality will be much reduced.
