you can have your locks re-keyed and a new ignition put in but it can be spendy.

Bring the title to a Chevy dealer and they can make a new set of keys for you. I took my 1993 Intrepid to a Dodge dealer and had that done; it only cost $5.
Your ex sounds like a real ******. If you want to make his keys useless, you can have the locks changed, but that is far more costly. Better to have him arrested for grand theft if he takes the truck.

If you have the know how or someone that could, purchase a used one at a salvage yard(will require removing old one from steering column , the same w/door locks.
Seems like a Big pain, but so are they sometimes.
I guess you could just change door locks IF you think that would stop the problem.
good luck!!!

go to any ford dealership, take with you proof of ownership, the vin number (take the registration if you have it) with you, or anything with the vin on it.
vin can be found engraved on a piece of metal on the dash board, driver side by the windshield.
normally that costs $20 to get the replacement....
good luck.

Why not just call the cops if he takes it, and report the car stolen?... After being arrested for GTA, I think he'll either give the keys back or not bother to mess with your truck...
