Just wondering who is more popular with the crowd (I am just talking about white people--not blacks, not other Asians).
No, this is not racist.
The point of this question is to find out which group (K, Ch, V, J) is more integrated into MAINSTREAM (sorry, it is still mostly white) America.
I'll ask another question about Latins and African-Americans and other people later, ok?
Just give me a break on this one!
Ok?
Geez! (I have to put a disclaimer on everything nowadays!)

this is a geographical and personal personality gradient, not a matter of race.
Yes I have Chinese and Korean friends here in this "Army town". Each
individual person is Different -- not by nationality, but personality; although
the ability to speak English fluently seems to affect interaction. Thus more Koreans here for a much longer time gives an edge in an overall look.
The overall picture is thus biased. In Norman, where my Chinese step-daughter goes to college and they're well versed in English, well educated,
numerous, youthful, used to interacting, and outnumber Koreans and Japa-nese -- the Chinese win handily [including the restaurant scene].

I was fortunate enough to have made a friend in a young lady from China. She came to America on a Visitor Visa and traveled from the west coast to the east coast on Greyhound!! She was in my town for just awhile before she had to move on due to her limited time on her Visa. I try not to judge people on their skin color or origins. I have made friends of several different backgrounds. I love learning about others cultures I'll never get to visit.

I am of the opinion that the Japaneses are currently better accepted and understood because of how popular their pop culture is right now.
