why do you think my husband is having such a hard time adjusting to southern ppl? he thinks it's like being in a third world coountry living here. it makes me wonder why he chose to marry me..and if he is sorry he did.

I can kinda understand, but in reversal. I moved up north from Texas and it was major culture shock. The people in the south are a helluva lot friendlier. How long have you been there? It might just take him a while to adjust. Its like a third world country to him down there, but up here to me, everybody is in a big friggin hurry to get nowhere. LOL

The south is another world with it's own culture, you may have to trade off and live in Wyoming or Nebraska.
