I'm not sure why you want to know. It's not like you can just change the spelling. I think that the K is more pleasing. There's only so much you can do with a c, but there's all sorts of things you can do with a K.

Well, one is a country: KOREA- and the other is a musician Chick COREA. Either way, if they are proper names, they should be spelled correctly, coolness not withstanding.
