Why are liberal, in general, more unhappy than most people?

Liberal means about free, liber means free and al means about, relating to or changing. Liberal means free to change, it is neither pro-free or anti-free so it can be either. In short, liberals change a lot.

So most of the time the people these liberals are following keep changing their minds and they argue, like Hillary and Obama, so liberals don't know what to think.

It is kind of like programming a computer or teaching a child, if you keep giving the computer or child contradictory information or you keep changing things the computer locks up or the child goes crazy.

Since, by definition, conservatives (con, meaning together, serve meaning maintain and ative meaning relating to or devoted to) maintain the same ideology with very small changes over time. Conservation, conservative, keep things the same. Contrary to uneducated rhetoric it does not mean roll things back, it means keep things consistent.

Keeping things consistent, raising a child or programming a computer or in life, makes people happier in general.

So, the more you keep changing things around (the more liberal you are) the unhappier you are and the more you keep things the same the happier you are.

Also:

Constantly changing things is a symptom of depression.

Changing , moving furniture, switching life styles, changing what you are doing, the way you are living, where you are living or how you are living.

By medical definition, liberalism is a symptom of depression.

Well, it is probably because 80% of liberals have to work hard for a living, while 60% of the conservatives live off of their family's money.

However, according to your math, 59% of all Democrats are very happy, while only 34% of all Americans are very happy. Sounds like a good percentage to me.

BTW, how happy are Foley and Haggart these days? I hear that they are so happy that they are absolutely GAY!

I thought you guys didn't believe in polls, or is it just when the polls favor you. I am liberal and I am happy because in November we restored checks and balance to the government and we are seeing the result of that now. The president will have to compromise in order to get his agenda passed and this makes me happy.

It's not that they're unhappy because they are liberals, I think it's more like the kind of people who become liberals... also, liberals tend to think alot of people are unhappy... the conservatives I know tend to be more optimistic..

Cause they aren't in denial of the world around them. They can't be happy driving their gas-guzzling SUV while sending poorer people to fight for lower gas prices.
