One of my character flaws is to automatically pass judgement about others. But that's in my head of course, I don't go labeling people or slandering. But I know there are some who even if they don't pass their judgment on to me, they will act as if I deserve it. I choose to search myself and advocate for the person I have these feelings for. Then I realize that i really have no reason to treat them with any less respect than anyother person. But that's just me.

What about you?

This question has nothing to do with religion.

We really shouldn't pass judgment at all. It is a matter of perspective. If somebody asks us for our opinion we should express our conviction as innocently as possible. If we understand that our aggressiveness can work against us we are learning how to solve problems with diplomacy.

We should not.

People are quick to see the wrongs in others, but not the reasons why they do them. Everyone has strengths & weaknesses, & I think if you were in that person's shoes, viewing life the way they did, being brought up the way they were, probably, you will...

Do exactly what they did!

Judging others is so wrong, because it is based on what we believe to be right (How can we know we ARE right? What if another way is just as right?)

Furthermore, the situation is compounded by the fact that EVERYONE of us has done wrong. No-one may judge another unless they have led a perfect life & are a perfect being.

Unfortunately, no-one is perfect, or can be, yet many times, there exist human judges who have done far worse crimes than the criminals they are convicting.

I am not saying wrong is wrong, I am merely saying that criminals who have done wrong do not deserve to judge others to be wrong.

I used to pass judgement on others but now I just judge myself. I let God handle the Judging of others.

I thinking judging people is a missed opportunity to know them better. So i try my best not to judge cause I don't want them to judge me.
