removing hair from eyebrows and upper lips

I've had my eybrows threaded awhile back and it was a pretty good experience. I believe that they use cotton thread that is twisted and rolled on th esurface of your skin so that the hairs will become entwined. That way when the thread is pulled away the hairs are pulled up from the follicle.

I thought this technique was pretty much painless and really quick. It works for people with sensitive skin because there's no wax involved. I used to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed but then I had irritated and itchy skin afterwards that would peel and look horrible. With the threading none of that occured.

Threading refers to the removal of unwanted hair using a cotton thread. The hair is removed from the follicle, thus hair grows back finer, and slower then with waxing or shaving. i reccommend threading, i myself have my eyebrows threaded, but it can be painful. You have to get a trained person to do it, not a simple do-it-yourself thing.
