let your friends help you out. It may be scary but it sounds like you need a change. Who cares what your parents think! Its their lose for not supporting you and seeing how good you are doing. Prove them wrong. Life is all about chances and if you sit their and do nothing its gonna get pretty boring

You can make it! It just takes some dedication and if you take courses you are interested in it doesn't seem like work because you will enjoy researching and learning about the theories etc., in those subjects. Now, as for living arrangements etc., College isn't free, it’s not like High School and unless you are on a full scholarship somebody is paying, that somebody might be you as in a loan, or your folks. Consequently college is no place to think of as a vacation before having to work in the real world. Trust me, I know we all made that mistake at one point or another, and boy do I wish I felt and knew what I just said when I was back in college. Get as many degrees as you can now, because they will enhance your earning power, and they will become valuable as you age. Even if you don't realize it until you are 50 it will happen. Besides with parents who think you aren't going to do well, wouldn't it be nice to either prove them wrong, or (depending on your family) have more education than they do? After the first year (most schools make you stay o campus the first year) you can get an apartment and share it there is nothing wrong with that. Make sure you’re not out partying all the time and you get what you are paying for. College is your opportunity to get what you paid for, don't let what you are paying for slip away, get as much out of your dollar as you can. Those dollars are not so easy to come by, and you don't want to waist them on unused tuition. If your going to a school close to home that could be an option, but from the sound of what your saying, if your parents are really that negative they might be discouraging to live with while in school, so it may not be a good option for you.
Good Luck, You will make it. Take what interests you first. Once you have so many credits you couldn't throw them away and not finish you can squeeze in the requirements and get a degree. (That is always another option)

first, talk to your parents and friends for they are involved in the decision you are making. Ask for pieces of advice, and then if you got their answers. It is time for you to make a decision. Though your parents aren't that supportive i am sure that they will understand your reason for wanting to stay with your friends becasue of the situation you have in your dorm. If you decide to live with your friends remember that you must be cooperate with them so that there will be no problems or they'll want you back in the dorm where you came from.

About the guys trying to get into your pants, I would call DPS, if you feel like you're in danger. Move in with your friends, ignore everyone that doesn't believe in you and let that negativity drive you even further towards your goal. Keep your head and remember "BREATHE".

Have a good talk with yourself. You are not a loser unless you choose to make bad decisions. Put your self in the best atmosphere so that you can be successful at school.

Good Luck!!
