is having a colour ipod a bit like owing a ferrari in yellow? it's just not right, white only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should check out the (RED) ipods. Let's just say that they're unique.

Historically Apple have favoured white over other colours, but did you realise that some of the first apple portable computers were black and that they stole designers from SONY to redesign their ibook (now Macbook) range!? A certain Sony Laptop from the mid 90s looks very much like a macbook now (was also pure white), even so far as to mount a webcam digital camera in the screens case just like the new Macbooks.(Must have been a poor resolution!)
Apple will make the colours 'cos they sell to people who wana express their individuality or freedom of choice through colours.Notice how the colours are Primary colours; almost everyone likes one of the primaries. I would always buy a mac or ipod in white and silver though, given that these "neutrals" symbolize the ideology of Apple today, faster, cleaner, more ergonomic and more solution based computer experience. My XP aint too bad though.

who cares? some people like coloured ipods. as long as it plays and its not some girly colour. think of a better question mate. getting these people to answer requires thinking.
