for the games the scores remain in the computer untill you erase them, those take a lot of hard disk space.

It depends, sometimes games leave the saved files and other files still there. The majority of the game is off the Hard Drive. But you might have a few files that don't take up any more than a few Megabytes of space. If you un-installed it correctly the majority should be off the Hard-Drive.

When you uninstaled the games it does take up some hard disk space the folder remains and some files which cannot be erased also remain.Dont delete them it may harm your computers software but thjey dont occupy so much space probably upto 3.5 or 4 MB depending upon the type of game.

There are always little fragments of ANY program that is un-installed. It is good practice to reformat the hard-drive every 3 months or so, just to clean all the old stuff out.

If the game has small size, then it will not.
But if the game has a bigger size then it will leave some files in your hard drive.
